5th TTT Course

Inter-country Transfer of Training Technology (TTT) Workshop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 28th March – 24th April 2010.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

To conduct a training workshop for 22 participants from 11 ACTMalaria member countries on planning, development, implementation and evaluation of course design as a follow up of national / international ACTMalaria courses that address defined needs for improving malaria control and other vector borne diseases control.


PARTICIPANT SELECTION CRITERIA:

The participants will be selected based on:-

Responsible for training in malaria or other vector borne disease control in their respective countries.
Committed to work in relevant posts at least three years following completion of the course.
Have adequate reading, writing and speaking skills of the English Language so that they can participate in discussions and prepare a written training proposal.
Able to meet international flight requirements concerning health and be able to undertake field work.
Course is limited to 22 participants preferably 2 each from the 11 member countries (nominated by the program). Final selection of participants is made by the ACTMalaria Foundation Inc. and TTT course committee.
